About: This was my first ever homepage. The reason I put it up was, well, just as my homepage... I was just trying out my HTML skills, and back then I didn't know programs like Microsoft FrontPage Express existed so I really was typing my own HTML, but it was ever so simple... although it's still pretty much the same as now *grins* so there ain't much difference in the HTML except now I'm too lazy to type down raw HTML. Another thing, I used to type in this annoying way: WaNnA sEe My BiO? - but not throughout the pages, thank God, usually just the titles and all.

Contents: It had the usual stuff, my bio, links, etc. I also tried to involve my visitors, so I also put up sections like Yourself (they sent me their bios and I'd put them up on this page), Jokes (which my visitors sent in), Stories (only one was sent in, though) and Zirah's Penpal Club (amateurish as usual). I only really linked to people who had banners and buttons and my Links page looked kinda empty.

Layout: The backgrounds were of different colours, but the the background colour of the main page was black, and the text colour was red. (And I still remember all this! Can you believe this? ^_^) As I said, I was using simple HTML so it did look simple (though some nice people said it looked amazing! Hee... *grins again*).

Awards: My first ever award was from CyberScans and I was really proud of it! But for most of the other awards, I signed up for them... *sighs*... ah well. As for my own awards to be given to other people, I made two (with the help of some website).

Others: I made up the Zirah's Penpal Ring in this time. Man, it sucked. =P

Present Status: This is a kind of funny story (although I never really got over it *half-smiles*). This applies to all of my Geocities websites, I think (except for FreakyGirl's Club). I was still under thirteen then, so Geocities asked me if I had my parent's permission for the webpage. I was too honest, and I said "no" because although my parents knew about my webpage, they never actually gave me permission to make it. And because of this simple thing ZiRaH's pLaCe!!! was shut down... how sad... at first I thought it was because I never updated it, then I remembered this thing so... at least I think that's the reason. Anyway, now the address has been taken over by someone else.
